| Five... four... three... two... one... Happy New Year everyone! The dropping ball, flashing neon signs, falling confetti from the sky, floating rolls of toilet paper from windows high up. Cold, crazy, and beautiful.
It was an amazing year, 2005. *fades into reminiscences*
Junior year was stressful until I started- decided- to have fun. And it was fun. Hehehe. Debate and school and bright sunny days and the park and taekwondo and last year of Sigma and food and hanging out and the people. A whirlwind of activity, of happiness.
Summertime. Hanging out. Partying all night longg =). Birthday party thank yous for all of my friends and those at Michigan! Addiction to pink lemonade and fro-yo. Minnesotas are sooo cool, dontca know? loll. Met many new people and made many new friends. Strengthened old friendships and began some anew. Felt the soaking summertime thunderstorms and found the real suburbia. Lost weight while on the Umich Freshman Fifteen diet lol. Hookah bars and Alice's caterpillar and infertility. Care packages, letters, penpals, birthday surprises from thousands of miles. TC Camp - strict midnight watch from former delinquent hehe. Fell in love with New York City... again.
Fall term senior year - college apps... enough said. Sorry I missed out on all the partying lol. Don't worry, they're over finally! Learning study habits four years too late. Pop rocks and coke and no explode. Admiration of the beautiful. Debate and novices and dinners together. Music. Trying to be insightful for strangers in 800 words or less. Seasons of Love. New York at night. Lots of shopping and eating and talking. Homeworks until morning. Secrets and jokes and stories of the past. Stargazing, sunsetting, the sun rises too late. Congrats to you all! All-nighters -- we're all fighters. Stumbling along.
Happy Belated New Years!! Last year of high school, 2006. w00t!! Rock rock rock it out! Seniors 06. Yayyy!

| Recap of
Thanksgiving weekend! I have pretty xanga! Iono why?
But it's pretty and I have a lot to write about. The CUNY honors
app has loosen my writing abilities. lol.
Wednesday
I was stressing the whole day about my college interview. I asked
so many people about theirs i probably had enough info to write a whole
book about it. Hmm... capitalizing on my fears, eh. The
moral of the story is... interviews aren't so bad after all.
=) I got a tour of Google new york and a free t-shirt!
<333
Thursday
I woke up pretty early cuz i fell asleep early. hehehe. I
was awaken by my mommy's cooking. I did some homework and watched
the parade. It was amazing cuz I was there yesterday (at Times
Square and Herald Square) and everything completely changed! I
went to my computer at around 11ish and I found a thank you note from
the interviewer. It was then I started to freak out. The
letter was amazing... it was beautiful and inspiring... and totally
unexpected... shouldn't I have been the one to send out the thank you
letter?! Sigh, he was either very acute or I told him a lot about
myself, a lot more than I expected. My worrying was interrupted
by my call of duty in the kitchen. At around 5ish, after all the
cooking cuz we were having a lot of guests over that night, I got
around to writing a thank you letter. It was well crafted and all
that jazz. However, it paled in comparison to his. I didn't
know much about him and I didn't have a reason to inspire him.
Meh, what can I do, right? Next part of the story. It was
time for dinner. There was like 15-20 people in my house!
It was crazyy! We had a perfectly cooked 11lbs turkey, a chinese
menu and an all american style menu that i was in charged of.
Mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, cocktail shrimp, and the yummy yummy
desserts! Cake and fruits and yams. Simplicity...
delish. Afterwards, the younger guests and my sister and I all
chilled. We watched Madagascar and Charlie and the Chocolate
Factory. Then the tryptophan kicked in and so on to...
Friday =)
I went the city with my sister and Amy. It was so totally
fun! Black Friday shopping! Yayyy. We bought a gift
for someone and our own stuff (clothing.. hehehe). It was fun
watching people lining up at express, at victoria's secret, at
aeropostle, etc to get the free stuff. "There are so many asians
in there... oh maybe thats why they wear aeropostle clothing."
lol @ amyy. We went shoe shopping and it was really really
fun. Boots are cool. I realized I've never been in the
Junior's section of the 34th Street Macy's, only the guys
section. Kinda weird lol. We watched Harry Potter and the
Goblet of Fire. I <33333 ^ lots and lots! It was
amazing. That night, I went to Yu Chang's dinner thingy. It
was yummy and fun. I like watching people sing; I don't like
singing xP. Happy Birthday!
Saturday
Happy birthday Yu Chang!! Thank you so much for the invite!
But, I had to stay home with my stupid CUNY honors app. It was
boring and sad. =( Inspiration is fleeting.
Sunday
Bleach is really good. Oops. I forgot to do my econ hw. Studying time!
Good night and
peace out. This concludes my extremely long post about
Thanksgiving weekend. I hope you didn't waste all of your time
reading it. Do your college apps! I will too... reluctantly
xP.
